BRIGIT
Limited Edition of 150 Approximately 6 1/2" tall x 6" wide x 3" deep
Brigit is named after an ancient Celtic Goddess. Her pose is one of openness and vulnerability, yet, she reflects the strength and courage it takes to be that open and vulnerable. "\'Turning it over', 'Letting go and letting God', 'surrender', all seem to describe her pose - that connection between the spiritual and physical.
This figure appeared in a candle flame the size of the sculpture. I had lit a 3" or 4" wide candle and the whole candle from the base up caught on fire. At the top of the candle, this figure appeared in a yellow-white robe, bending backwards. From her solar plexis, white balls of flames were shooting into the air about every second and about 8" apart. She was so beautiful, I had to capture the pose.
